We heard rumours back in July that our two cult classic alien homeboys would be making the leap to HD and SEGA have just confirmed it.

Both Toejam & Earl and ToeJam & Earl In Panic On Funkotron will be released on Xbox Live and PSN on November 7th for the price of £3.69 each. Xbox 360 owners will have the opportunity to buy the double pack for only 800MSP.

ToeJam and Earl was originally released in 1991 and followed the adventures of two alien rappers as they attempt to locate ten missing parts of their spaceship over a series of randomly generated levels. The game features some brilliant humour and a great soundtrack to compliment the 2D top down gameplay.

Let’s just hope that SEGA keep the core local co-op gameplay and don’t cut it to online only.
