Sony have posted a video on their official PlayStation YouTube channel titled “The Reload” but little is known about what it is that they’re actually teasing.

The 20 second teaser video shows a woman reloading a gun before the power cuts out and lightning flashes and crackles are heard. It then fades to black and shows the date 23rd October 2012.

The most popular speculations are inFamous 3, due to the lightning crackles, and possibly something to do with PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale. The sign on the desk reads “SARU! GET YOU!” which is the title of Ape Escape in Japan. There’s also a postcard for Limbo City, a demon infested city in the new Devil May Cry game, in the bottom right of the desk.

What is interesting is that the woman in the Reload video is the same woman seen about 30 seconds into Sony’s “Michael” video – a promo video that showcases some of the platforms iconic characters. Our guess for what “The Reload” actually is? A follow on the famous “Michael” video.
